Miguel Lozano is a co-founder of FC Pittsburgh, a member of the Board of Directors and the U11-U12 Girls Director of Coaching.

Lozano is in his 12th season as the La Roche College head women’s soccer coach, the longest tenured among the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women’s soccer coaches.

During his 11 years of coaching college soccer, Lozano has established himself as one of the sport’s most consistent winners.  He has averaged more than 13 wins a season in his career, sporting a 139-67-13 (.665) lifetime coaching record.  The 139 wins and .665 winning percentage rank him among the all-time leaders of coaches with a minimum of 10 years at an NCAA Division III school.

During his career, Lozano has coached his teams to 11 AMCC post-seasons, including two appearances in the AMCC Championship game.  In 2002 the Lady Redhawks posted the best regular season record and hosted the AMCC tournament.

Lozano's list of accomplishments is impressive.  In his 11 years of coaching at La Roche, 52 players have won all-conference honors, including two Newcomers of the Year, two conference MVPs and two AMCC Coach of the Year awards.

Lozano engages in numerous soccer activities in addition to his coaching roles at FC Pittsburgh and La Roche. He is also the director of the UPMC Passavant / La Roche College Youth Soccer Camps.

Earlier in his career, he coached at all youth levels for North Hills Soccer Club (NHSC).  He also coached for IFC and the Pittsburgh Strikers Soccer Club, where he took his team to win State Championships in 1995 and 1996.  In 1996 his team won the prestigious Continental Alliance Tournament (NIKE CUP) in Philadelphia.  His youth teams have played in tournament finals in eastern and western Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois and Ohio. Lozano was also a member of the PA West and the Region 1 Olympic Development Program regional coaching staff.
