Rich Wilson
Staff Coach

Rich Wilson is the head coach of the U14 boys’ FC Pittsburgh program.

Prior to coming to FC Pittsburgh, Wilson served 11 years as a coach for the Pittsburgh Strikers boys’ programs. Additionally, he has served as head coach for the girls’ varsity teams at Avonworth High School and Quaker Valley High School.

Native of Eldersburg, Maryland, Wilson earned All-County and All-State at Liberty High School. Earning an athletic scholarship, he continued his playing career at Lees-McRae College in the mountains of North Carolina.

After completing his collegiate playing career, Wilson went on to play for the Baltimore Bays, a semi-professional team, from 1990 to 1993.

Earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in History and Education at Towson University and Point Park University, respectively, Wilson currently teaches history at Career Connections Charter High School in Lawrenceville.
