Kristin Steffey

Kristin Steffey is an FC Pittsburgh utility trainer for the U11-U15 girls’ programs.

She currently is the owner and director of Pittsburgh Premier Soccer Training, a developmental training environment for players ages 4-12 during the summer off-season located in the North Hills school district.

In 1996 Steffey started her coaching career as the head women’s coach at Geneva College, producing three NSCAA Team Academic Awards, a National Christian College Athletic Association National Championship, and numerous NAIA All-American, All-District, All-Conference and NAIA Academic All-American players.

After Geneva Steffey returned to her hometown in Sewickley to serve as the head girls’ coach for Quaker Valley High School. In seven years she led the Lady Quakers to five Section Championships, a PIAA silver medal, two WPIAL silver medals, and finished with a total of 114 wins.

During her playing career at Ohio Wesleyan University, Steffey earned three All-Conference, four All-Ohio, two All-Mid East, and NSCAA National All-American titles, as well as serving as team captain for two years. Steffey has been immortalized as a member of the Ohio Wesleyan University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Steffey earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in sociology/psychology at Ohio Wesleyan and a Master’s of Science degree in Developmental Movement (Motor Learning and Control) at the University of Pittsburgh.
